Directions to Homestead Hearth
From St. Louis or other points east: Travel west on I-70
to Exit Number 148, the Kingdom City exit. Take the exit ramp and
turn right on East Highway 54. Proceed north along Highway 54 to
Mexico. Take the first exit ramp into Mexico that you see. The ramp
exits to the right. At the top of the ramp, turn left onto Business
Highway 54. Proceed on Business 54 through a small business district
and then past a residential area. At the first stoplight, go straight.
You’re now on Clark Street. After a few blocks, you’ll come to a
green bridge over some railroad tracks. Cross the bridge and IMMEDIATELY,
veer right on Liberty. Proceed on Liberty. At the first stop sign,
go straight. Start watching for Coal Street. It’s the second street
after the stop sign. Turn left onto Coal. We’re at 105 N. Coal.
It’s the building with an old Wilys jeep hanging from the wall.
There’s parking on the street or in a lot directly south of the
building.
